Favorite cheat meal?

Pizza, pizza oh, and pizza. Usually a meat lovers style.

What compelled you to sign up for the Longevity Life Zone lifestyle program?

I have trouble staying motivated for the long haul. I’m hoping for some interesting, new ideas to help with that.

Where or what do you struggle most in maintaining your health?

Staying on the plan. I’ve never been one to stay interested in a program for too long.

Why is a healthy lifestyle important to you?

I want to maintain my fitness in order to keep moving, whether it’s playing with our new Lab puppy, trying a new sport like Pickleball, or just hauling the groceries in from the car…I want to know I can do all those things and more.

Does your age play a factor? If so, how?

I just celebrated my 65th birthday and I feel a few more aches and pains these days. It also takes me longer to recover after a challenging workout.

Have you always exercised?

Like most guys I played whatever sport was in season in my early years, but as time went by I started going to the gym for the 40-50 minute solo workout, riding my bike, or walking until I discovered Crossfit, which made it more fun and exiting to workout with others!

What are your own personal goals for the next 12 weeks?

I would like to learn some new techniques for keeping my motivation and interest going even after the 12 week program ends.

What excites you most about the Longevity Life Zone? (Speakers? Nutrition? Training? Mobility?

Everything! I love the idea of learning new information based on research that’s specifically designed for my age group, while fostering a healthy, long-term lifestyle.
